Another RM 390 on this piece of carbon moulded fork with combination of alloy.Only
weighs 668 grams.Bought it from eBay,this would be the final pieces of my jigsaw
to the masterpiece bicycle that i am desiring of.I got this fork because of
the weight, to be used on my road riding escapades which would reach 100KM and
more on most rides hopefully.The fork came in a timely manner,ordered it 8 days
ago,and WALA it reached my office today from Hong Kong.As you notice,the address
& stamp have HK written all over it.The guy who sold this was also kind
enough to tick it as a gift & sort of underdeclare it’s value.Yes i will
consider it as a gift,because i did not have to pay tax.Actaully if i were the
PM of Malaysia,to encourage a healthy lifestlyle for Malaysians,i will simply
abolish all sports equipment taxes.Therefore Malaysians can buy the best sporting
equipment for their usage tax free.Now wouldn’t that be a good idea
So whenever you make a purchase on eBay,it really depends on the seller wheter
he wants to tick it as a gift,because items that are ticked as a gift will not
be charged taxes.But sometimes it really depends on your "day" if
the customs officer decides to tax it,then so be it.Well after purchasing the
slick Panaracer tires for road riding,the fork would just fit perfectly for
the theme.However i encountered much difficulty in dismantling the headset to
remove my Manitou Magnum R suspension to replace it with this Mosso Carbon fork.
Guess i’ll be calling on my mechanic friend to help me out then on Wednesday.Now
another few more stuff to get and i’ll be out of the bicycling pimping business
altogether for the year.This fork is both disc & V-brakes compatible.
